글로벌 스포츠 브랜드 '뉴발란스'와 일하는 사람들에게 농담을 던지는 브랜드 '모베러웍스'는 <WORK & WORK OUT>과 <SUMMER JOKE>를 주제로 두 번의 콜라보레이션을 진행했습니다.

두번째 콜라보레이션 테마는 <SUMMER JOKE>로 반전 그래픽을 통해 팬데믹 상황에서 마음껏 휴가를 떠날 수 없는 직장인들의 답답함을 위트 있게 표현하고자 했습니다. 욕조에서 즐기는 스노쿨링, 한입 베어문 도넛 튜브, 미니 풀장 낚시 등 집에서 여름 휴가를 보내는 모조의 모습을 담아 티셔츠, 우븐 셔츠 등을 제작하였습니다.


The collaboration’s overall theme <SUMMER JOKE> playfully illustrates the frustration of people not being able to freely go on a vacation since the outbreak of COVID-19. Snorkeling in a bathtub, taking a bite off a donut tube, fishing in a mini pool - Mojo’s typical holiday spent at home during times of a pandemic were featured on t-shirts and woven shirts.

<SUMMER JOKE> 컬렉션 제품은 출시 후 전국 200개 매장에서 판매 되었으며, 홍대 뉴발란스 플래그십 스토어, 롯데백화점 영등포점에서는 바캉스를 컨셉으로 한 팝업 스토어가 열렸습니다. 이후 구매 고객 대상으로 휴가 티켓에 소원을 적어 응모하면 한정판 VIP KIT를 드리는 이벤트가 진행됐습니다.


<SUMMER JOKE> collection was sold at 200 stores nationwide. Summer holiday themed pop-up retails were opened in New Balance store in Hongdae and Lotte department store in Yeongdeungpo. In addition, a raffle was held for visitors who wrote their wishes on their holiday tickets and limited VIP KITs were prized.
