Shinhan Card x Mobetterworks Collaboration — Credit Card

신한카드는 모베러웍스와 함께 MZ 세대를 타깃으로 스페셜 에디션 체크카드를 발행하고자 하였습니다. 모베러웍스는 MZ 세대가 향유하는 아이돌 포토카드 문화를 아메리칸 빈티지 스타일로 재해석하여, 80년대의 베이스볼 트레이딩 카드를 컨셉으로한 경쾌한 무드의 카드를 디자인하였습니다. 카드 제작 과정은 유튜브 채널 MoTV(모티비)를 통해 공개되었습니다.

Shinhan Card, One of South Korea’s leading credit card company teamed with Mobetterworks to create a special edition credit card targeting the Millennials and Gen Z. The credit card was designed to remind users of a lucky $2 bill with Mobetterworks' very own slogan ‘Small Work Big Money’. The result turned out a huge success - over 10,000 credit cards were issued within 4 months of its launch.

신한카드는 기존의 카드 회사 이미지를 탈피하고, 모바일 페이 등으로 카드 사용율이 낮은 MZ 세대들이 갖고 싶은 신용카드를 만들고자 했습니다. 모베러웍스는 신용카드를 놀이처럼 소비할 수 있도록 경험을 설계했습니다. ‘행운의 2달러’는 지갑에 넣고 다니면 복이 온다는 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 행운의 2달러가 지닌 상징성을 카드와 결합하여 부적 컨셉의 카드를 디자인, 지갑에 항상 소지할 수 있도록 만들었습니다.

> Shinhan Card created a credit card that appeals to Millennials and Gen Z consumers, to transform their brand image. Mobetterworks added a playful element to issuing a credit card that would trigger the curiosity of the target consumers. Crisp $2 bills symbolize a token of good luck. The symbol of the lucky $2 bill was conceptualized into a credit card - consequently lucky token users can carry it in their wallets.
